Job Title: Retail Support Manager

Contract type: part timetemporary contract from May to August 2024

Duration: May - August 2024, min 2 days (15 hours) a week with additional hours available Mon- Sun as and when required

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, across six shop locations and at various external events

Salary: £11.44 per hour

The Shakespeare Hospice, based in Stratford-Upon-Avon, offers outstanding palliative and end of life care to patients, their loved ones and carers across South Warwickshire and the surrounding areas. We offer a diverse range of community-based services including a Day Hospice, Hospice at Home, Adult Counselling, Children’s and Family Support Services and Transitional Care Services.

Our network of shops plays a vital role in raising funds to deliver our crucial services, and we are looking for passionate individuals to help support our shop teams.

Are you experienced working in retail or a customer service led environment and looking for an exciting summer opportunity? The Shakespeare Hospice is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated team as Retail Support Manager to provide cover on a short-term contract from May to August 2024.

Role Overview: As a Retail Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing management cover across our six shop locations or helping the team to set up and run stalls at external town events locally. Your role will involve managing day-to-day shop operations, assisting the team, providing high quality customer service, ensuring visual merchandising standards are met, and maximising sales opportunities.

Requirements: Ideal candidates will need to have supervisory or management experience of working in a customer service-led environment.  If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and can work flexibility across multiple locations, we would like to meet you!
