Retail Refrigeration Enigneer

Our client requires a Retail Refrigeration Engineer to cover London and the home counties, who specialise in refrigeration equipment, carrying out the service and maintenance works. Since being founded in 1966, they have been market leaders and have an extensive Commercial Portfolio of clients within Supermarkets, Convenience stores and Petrol Forecourts

They provide a comprehensive service on all Refrigeration systems including; integral and remote cabinets, cold store evaporators, condensation pumps, condensing units, air conditioning systems, scroll and reciprocating commercial refrigeration packs, remote condensers and systems operating on DX refrigerants, hydrocarbon and CO²

All sites are within London and the home counties covering Maintenance, Service and reactive working including repair and fault finding.

Retail Refrigeration Enigneer Position Requirements

• F-Gas Cat 1 / 2079
• City and Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration and Air conditioning
• Hydrocarbon and/or Co2 handling ticket is desirable
• UK driving license
• 3 years plus experience, within the Refrigeration sector working on retail systems
• Additional experience within AHUs and Fan coils is beneficial

Retail Refrigeration Enigneer Position Remuneration

• £38,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience
• 45-hour week
• Travel paid door to door
• Once the 45-hour week has been reached - anything worked over that is overtime at 1.6x
• 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays
• Holiday pay bonus
• Call out rota - 1 in 4 (if 5 people on the team - 1 in 5 etc.)
