Zachary Daniels are proud to be partnering with a Luxury Retailer looking to add a Operations Manager to there Flagship Location. Due to the continued growth and expansion of the Buisness a need to add an additional member to the team is essential.

As Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of back of house operations including Security, Facilities, Health & Safety, Cash Office and Stock Functions. Continuously reviewing and measuring risk within store is key, along with identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. You will ensure collaboration between divisions in order to capitalise on opportunities to move the business forward. Working with regional partners, you will plan effectively to implement new strategies and manage store costs in line with the wider business. Part of the senior retail leadership team, you will not only lead, develop and inspire your team but the wider business. Championing initiatives across services, operations and wellbeing.

More About the Role:

As the Retail Operations Manager you will:

  • Seek to improve productivity while managing all costs within budget and maximising stock availability
  • Lead and inspire a skilled management team to sustain high performing teams through coaching and development, taking action when appropriate
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to action the company vision, ensuring effective implementation of initiatives
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to align on approach and support of Sales Managers to ensure the effective day to day running of the store, as well as working on the strategic planning of the long term store vision
  • Challenge and develop operational efficiencies across the store, collaborating with the leadership team on a unified approach across both BoH and FoH
  • Monitor divisional sales and profit, delivering appropriate action, including stock loss and markdown / wastage plan
  • Ensure that key business messages are cascaded effectively to all members of the team both own bought and concession
  • Plan effectively for key trading events and ensure support is in place across all back of house areas
  • Ensure that the Buisness is fully compliant at all times with trading standards legislation, health & safety legislation and security standards

The Candidate will ideally be:

  • Commercially astute. You are responsive to business needs, taking opportunities to improve performance by creating and owning a clear plan to deliver results
  • A great communicator. Friendly and confident in your manner you excel in the relationships you build with customers, team members and stakeholders
  • Engaging with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders across various functions in order to drive change
  • Naturally pragmatic and solutions orientated. You are calm under pressure and can give clear guidance
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects and working collaboratively with various stakeholders
  • Able to influence and communicate at all levels and areas of the business and with external parties
  • Strong skills in managing Profit & Loss & cost management
  • A team player. Bringing ideas and sharing best practice with the senior management team, whilst supporting others as appropriate
  • Collaborative. Working flexibly as part of the management team you will support in projects and cross functional meetings as appropriate
