A large, well established, credible employer in the Luton area are needing an experienced Administrator to join their resourcing team. As this teams sits within the HR department it is desirable that candidates applying have previous HR or recruitment-based experience. This role would suit someone looking for a move from recruitment agency to internal recruitment.

As the administrator supporting the Resource Manager you position will hold responsibility in the following areas; talent attraction, advertising, early careers, interview process and offer stage, onboarding, induction and vetting.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling interviews
  • Collating and sending feedback
  • Writing and posting job descriptions
  • Manage the recruitment team inbox
  • Screening of CVs
  • Providing shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Preparation of onboarding process for all new employees
  • Generating offers of employment
  • Complete vetting process for all new recruits
  • Manage the Early Careers online portals
  • Attendance at relevant job fairs and careers events

Requirements of the role:

  • Previous administrative experience within recruitment (or similar) covering the above areas
  • Familiarity and a working knowledge of HR/recruitment databases
  • Confidence to support the interview process, attending when necessary (online and in person)
  • Organised and able to work to deadline and in environments which experience peaks in demand
  • Proficient in Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
