Our valued client are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join their team in Southport. They provide a safe, comfortable residential setting for young people aged between 7-17 who are battling behavioural difficulties.

Job Description
The Residential Support Worker will play a vital role in providing emotional, behavioural, and general daily life support to the young residents. You will assist them in their development while maintaining a secure, positive, and homely environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing daily care and support to young people with behavioural difficulties
- Assisting with the creation and implementation of care plans
- Promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of young people in the home
- Engaging with young people and encouraging positive behaviours
- Ensuring young people’s safety and wellbeing at all times
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained

Requirements:
- Experience in working with young people with behavioural difficulties
- Hold or be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, patient, and resilient attitude
- An ability to work flexibly across a rota which includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- A valid UK driving license is desirable
