Eventus Legal is seeking a Residential Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive for the opportunity to work within a firm dedicated to excellence in legal services based in Sunderland. Role Responsibilities

The successful ambitious Residential Solicitor will be responsible for handling a caseload of residential property matters. This will include buy-to-let property purchases, new build and auction work, and ensuring exceptional client service. Duties will include:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients on property matters
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements
  • Liaising effectively with clients, stakeholders, and other parties involved in property transactions
  • Negotiating terms and conditions on behalf of clients and resolving any legal issues that may arise during property transactions
  • Staying updated with relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in property law
  • Maintaining accurate records, billing, and documentation following firm policies and regulatory requirements

Person Specification

The incoming Residential Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executivewill be a motivated team player who has the ambition to succeed and is looking to the future to potentially gain further knowledge across the property department. Previous residential property experience would be desirable. You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • High organisation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Sence of prioritisation
