Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer with experience to join a firm in Skipton, North Yorkshire, due to expansion. The role is a permanent job position, offered either full-time or part-time. The successful Solicitor will be working alongside a thriving team, with excellent benefits including hybrid working, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays rising with service, medicash healthcare, free parking and a social and friendly atmosphere.

Role responsibilities

The incoming Residential Conveyancing Solicitor will be expected to handle a caseload which will encompass all areas of Residential Conveyancing, including both freehold and leasehold properties, both for sales and purchase transactions as well as remortgage and transfer of equity work.

There is no panel work dealt with by this firm, and it is a low-volume caseload often working for local, repeat business clients and so client care is paramount. In addition, you will benefit from team support.

Person specification

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives or Licenced Conveyancers experienced in Residential Conveyancing, from newly qualified upwards (no upper limit). Also, you must value customer care and good service.

A personable approach is essential - to make the firm approachable to clients but also to make the firm a friendly place to work. You must have experience across all aspects of Residential Conveyancing, freehold and leasehold, new build work, transfer of equity and all associated matters. You will be able to run a caseload from inception to completion, with minimum supervision.
