Residential Childcare Support Worker

Your new company
Our client is has a long history in child protection and they provide high-quality therapeutic childcare which helps these young people learn to deal with their past experiences and prepare for the future. They often present challenging behaviours which is the result of previous significant abuse and early negative experiences. Your new role
You will be supporting the Registered manager in overseeing the care and development of the young people in your care - which means responsibility for all care services and strategic planning and all day to day management matters. You will be contributing to the normal development through provision of a healthy lifestyle, a variety of different activities and be a consistent, caring adult role model.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience within a similar setting and the drive and enthusiasm to provide the very best care to help turn around the lives of these young people and give them every opportunity to succeed in life. You will need a clean driving licence and be qualified to NVQ 3 in childcare.
