Hiring Residential Childcare Officer

We work closely with a special educational needs (SEN) school located in Great Yarmouth area by providing short and long term Residential Childcare Officer to work with their children.

Starting from as soon as possible, we are looking for dedicated people to work as Residential Childcare Officer to join our fantastic team to work within our local SEN school.

Salary: £17 - £18

Type: Full Time (8:30 AM - 4 PM) (Term Time only)

The Role:

• Supporting pupils on either a 1-2-1 or small group basis
• Promoting progress in pupils academic ability as well as social and emotional well-being
• Assisting with off-site activities / school trips
• Motivate and encourage pupils as required
• Highly rewarding position where you can have a direct impact on a child's life

What you will need:

• Right To Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship provided)
• Minimum 6 months experince either in care, schools or nurseries.
• Enhanced DBS check (we can provide this for you)

• Must be good with managing challenging behaviour.

• Happy to do sleep-ins twice a week.
