Are you passionate about making a positive impact on construction projects? Do you have excellent communication and problem-solving skills? We are looking for a friendly and organised individual to join our team as a Resident Liaison Officer in the construction industry. As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with residents affected by construction projects, ensuring their concerns are addressed and mitigating any disruptions caused by construction activities. This is a rewarding role that allows you to interact with people on a daily basis and make a difference in their lives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents affected by construction projects
  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and potential disruptions to residents in a clear and friendly manner
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess the impact of construction activities on residents and address any concerns
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings between residents and construction teams to discuss and resolve issues
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimise disruption and inconvenience to residents
  • Provide information and resources to residents regarding local services and support during construction
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and communications

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service or community relations role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
