Research Director - social research

London / Hybrid

c.£100,000 + benefits

I am working with a one of the largest independent insights agency who specialise in social research, consumer and B2B, and health and pharma market research.

We are recruiting for an innovative Research Director for their social research area of the business who are currently going through a scale-up phase, to take on a strategic role and create, develop and executive their quant research offering. They work with a range of government departments and Universities, on projects around climate change and environmental sustainability, public policies, EDI work, and behavioural science studies. Over the last 3 years, they have won several awards for their great work including:

  • Inclusive Research Winner, 2023 MRS Awards
  • At end of 2022 the won the most innovative method at the Analysis in Government awards
  • Winner Best New Venture, 2021 MRS Awards

About you:

  • Being a small but growing team (current sitting on a headcount of 10) we are looking for someone who can have accountability. You will be responsible for creating the strategy but more importantly, executing it.
  • A quant strong social researcher (as a senior level) and good knowledge of how agencies work
  • A passion for social research and a desire to disrupt the market through innovative ideas
  • Proven experience of behavioural science, complex sampling, and evaluation work

  • Salary c. £100,000 (this is negotiable for the right person)
