We have an exciting opportunity for a Reprographics Officer to join the team on a full time (37 hours per week for 52 weeks per year) basis. Applications requesting a Job Share are welcome. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £23,014 - £25,280 per annum.

We are a high-achieving college who attract around 2,800 sixth form students across the region each year. We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park and offer our students a huge range of courses and superb facilities.

About the role:

As the Reprographics Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality, efficient and effective Reprographic service to the College and be responsible for the direct supervision of one member of staff.

Responsibilities as our Reprographics Officer will include:

  • Being responsible for ensuring that all reprographics work requested by College staff is produced to a high professional standard, to the required deadline and within Copyright legislation
  • Using InDesign, Publisher and Illustrator as well as other software to develop and enhance the quality of printed material
  • Promoting the reprographics service within the college as well as in the community
  • Liaising with a range of college staff and students regarding reprographics work demonstrating high levels of customer service
  • Working with Marketing department staff in the printing of college promotional materials
  • Regularly reviewing, implementing and practicing ways of improving the quality of printed material
  • Being responsible for the safe operation of all reprographic machinery within the department
  • Liaising with specialist machinery suppliers for ongoing servicing, maintenance checks and fault finding
  • Acting as a point of contact regarding existing printing equipment contracts and leases, monitoring when renewals and replacements are required
  • Exploring opportunities to further develop reprographics services including the use of digital software

As our Reprographics Officer, you’llideally have:

  • Good standard of general education including GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above
  • IT qualifications at level 2 eg ECDL or equivalent
  • Experience working with budgets
  • Knowledge of Adobe software InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • The ability to prioritise workflow effectively
  • Keen to further develop skills and knowledge
  • An understanding of Copyright regulations within an educational setting
