A Reporting Analyst is required by our large Government client to work with the IT, Functional Stakeholders, Business Analysts, and Data Analysts to deliver the implementation of new reporting services. The role will include gathering requirements, running workshops/depth interviews, analysing data, assessing processes and systems, creating reporting solutions and planning for the future to achieve the organisations operating model.

Key Responsibilities:

• You be responsible for designing and implementing reporting principles and practices within the organisation thereby enabling data driven decision-making
• Work within a scrum style team to implement reporting governance and support data quality controls and KPIs creation initially of the core Reports to be created for finance, commercial and HR in scope areas of the programme.
• Drive OAC and reporting requirements across the core business units and identify substandard reporting processes through evaluation of all types of operational data.
• Analyse, document and support reporting solutions for finance, commercial and HR and to draft business requirement for peer review & sign off either via business requirement documents or user stories.
• Create and implement precise management plans for all reporting projects, with attention to transparent communication at all levels of them.

Key Experience: 

• This is a specialist role, requiring Oracle Analytics Cloud expertise and experience coupled with knowledge of HR, Finance and Commercial data.
• Extensive experience of reporting & analytics experience in enterprise-wide or Shared Services operations; Public Sector is beneficial.
• Held senior reporting or analytics related position such as Reporting Analytics Manager, Data Reporting Manager or BI Manager
• Experience in leading the development and implementation of data-driven reporting solutions
• Experience of implementing best in practice reporting and analytics dashboard
• Experience in developing and improving reporting standards, processes and governance
• Experience in driving delivery and complying with reporting and analytics SLAs
• Experience in developing and managing analytics strategy development through customer centricity
