My client, a social housing provider, seek an experienced Repairs Supervisor to start a 6 month fixed term contract asap!

The role:

To manage the directly employed trade operatives. The role is fundamental in managing productivity, health & safety, work quality and delivering excellent customer focused service. The role may also require paid out of hour working on a rota with other Supervisors to provide support to the out of hours service which may result in visits to sites where required out of hours.

A day in the life: You will: • Support the RSM to deliver a first-class repairs and maintenance service experience for our residents in South London. • Work with Repairs Schedulers to ensure that right operative is efficiently deployed to undertake the work specified and continued support and monitoring of the operatives. • Ensure that customer-first principles are embedded across the service, with a total focus on ensuring that repairs are carried out in line with customer expectations, on time, to a high quality, and within the budget available whilst ensuring that staff are safe, empowered and motivated to do the job. • Carry out pre- and post-inspections, looking at both quality and efficiency, as well as compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations. • Carry out on-site inspections of repairs ensuring high standards of quality work and customer Satisfaction and investigate any complaints arising from the operatives managed and jobs undertaken by the local team as well as managing complaints through to satisfactory resolution
