£35k- £45k salary (depending on experience) + Bonuses + Company car
Confidently manage the vehicle valuation process, considering feedback from customers, following market trends and understanding the planning behind valuations
Develop relationships with customers (dealerships, independent traders, car supermarkets) to maximise market potential of all vehicle disposals
First point of contact for all inbound sales calls ensuring price position is justified competently
Provide industry and market knowledge for our buying team to ensure our stock is purchased with the disposal opportunity considered
Provide regular KPI updates to the directors
Liaise with the remarketing team to ensure all vehicles are physically inspected in a timely manner and that any damage is accurately described on the database
Accommodate any requests from customers to view stock and ensure vehicle locations are physically managed well on site with the support of our fleet team
Record sales accurately on the database to ensure no invoicing errors including monitoring the accuracy of the supporting team.
Ensure all stages of the sales process are as efficient as possible working to KPI’s around payments, delivery and collection.
Liaise with various in-house departments to ensure any reconditioning work is organised and carried out to maximise vehicle values
Working with Head of Operations to continuously improve business processes and procedures
Observing safe working practices at all time, carrying out duties with due care and in line with Company policies and procedures
Other ad hoc duties as required by the Company
This job description will be varied at the discretion of the Company according to the needs of the business.
Experience
Successful track record in similar business or role, or with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the corporate leasing/motoring industry
Qualifications and competences
Vehicle industry knowledge required.
Methodical and process driven, proactive and energetic
High levels of attention to detail and accuracy especially in a busy environment
Work well under pressure especially during peak periods
Excellent numeracy & literacy skills
Excellent IT skills, including an understanding of Microsoft packages
Excellent verbal written and spoken communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills
Strong organisation skills and able to effectively manage and prioritise workload
