An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join this exceptional and vibrant RE department at an “outstanding” Catholic school. They are a high achieving, oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with a strong community ethos. Day to Day of the role:
- Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons in Religious Education to students across different age groups.
- Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons and coursework to track student progress.
- Contributing to the development of curriculum materials and innovative teaching practices.
- Participating in departmental meetings, school training, and professional development sessions.
- Supporting the Catholic ethos of the school and contributing to its strong community values.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Religious Education or a related subject.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
- Excellent knowledge of the Religious Education curriculum.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of dedicated professionals.
- A willingness to embrace and contribute to the school’s ethos and values.
