Position: Relief Chef

Location: Solihull

Platinum Recruitment is working with a well-established care group, they are looking for a Relief Chef to work in Solihull and provide cover at various care homes.

We are looking for highly skilled chefs to create fresh nutritious meals for our residents by way of using the best fresh ingredients available. We need a passionate Chef who will lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high-level hospitality.

Rate of pay/Salary: £16.50 (£34,320)

What's involved?

  • The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! It is a full-time contract consisting of 40 hours
  • Kitchen operates 07:00 to 18:00 (shifts will vary around these times)
  • This role will be full time, based in Solihull but travelling around to cover sickness/holiday.
  • Based out of our Solihull home you will cover additional homes in Sutton Coldfield, Hagley, Stourbridge, Warwick and occasional travel to Sheffield. Mileage and expenses are paid for. A full induction will be provided and you will be supported by each of the homes where you cover.

Ideal candidate

  • Food hygiene and allergen training (or be willing to complete)
  • IDDSI Knowledge (or willingness to learn)
  • DBS Certificate (or happy to apply)
  • UK Driving License
  • Experience working as a head chef
