Hays Healthcare is currently looking for an experienced Registered Mental Nurses to work at HMP Humber.
Working Hours: Shifts between Monday and Sunday, either 08:00 - 18:00 or 08:00 - 16:00Start Date: ASAP - ongoing
As part of the dedicated team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to the inmates at HMP Humber. Your duties will include:Conducting thorough mental health assessments of inmates, identifying their mental health needs and formulating appropriate care plans.Conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential risks to individuals and others, including self-harm, suicide, or harm to others, and implementing appropriate risk management strategies.Administering and monitoring prescribed medications.Providing immediate support and intervention in crisis situations, such as self-harm or acute mental health episodes.
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)Possess current prison security clearance
