Salary: £75k plus up to 20% bonus
Company: A reputable care provider in Reading is seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Care Home Manager to oversee a 68 bed residential, nursing, and dementia care home. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort.
Role Overview:
As the Registered Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering exceptional care services. You will lead a team of dedicated staff members, fostering a culture of compassion, professionalism, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership and management to the care home staff, promoting a positive working environment.
Ensure the delivery of person-centered care to meet the individual needs and preferences of residents.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff members to maintain high standards of care.
Manage budgets effectively and efficiently, monitoring financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of health and safety.
Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders within the community.
Implement quality assurance processes to continuously improve service delivery and resident satisfaction.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN) with active NMC registration.
Proven experience in managing nursing care homes, preferably with a minimum of [X] years of experience.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices within the care sector.
