Nonstop care is working with an Good-Ofsted rated Children's home in the East Midlands that are looking for a Registered Manager to join the team in the opening of their second home.

The first home has achieved an Good Ofsted rating representing a benchmark for excellence, creating a fulfilling environment for the team as they deliver a high level of care and make a positive change within the children's community.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operational aspects of the children's residential home in compliance with legal and policy mandates.
  • Supervise and enhance the quality of support while ensuring the safety of children and young individuals under the care of Cherry Tree House.
  • Engage children and their families in your work, aligning with the home's equality policy.
  • Meet the qualifications necessary to be recognized as a registered manager with Ofsted's approval.
  • Fulfil all the duties and responsibilities of a registered manager as stipulated by the Children's Homes Regulations 2001.
  • Utilize information technology and related systems in adherence to the home's established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 5 in Care
  • 3 years' experience of working with children in a residential setting in the last 5 years, with at least 2 years' experience of supervising staff
  • Qualification in Safeguarding Children
  • Proficiency in IT, including the use of email, internet, and maintaining electronic records
  • Familiarity with National Minimum Standards and Children's Homes Regulations
  • Possession of a valid driving licence
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Certificate
  • Competency in mathematics and English
  • Legal authorization and documentation to work in the UK
