Halcyon Health & Social Care are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to work within our client’s flagship service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager that has the genuine passion and drive to change every life for the better, regardless of a person’s background or ability.

The Registered manager will be responsible for three sites, including the charity’s own small-holding, therapy suites, staff training lodge and day-service. All are located within beautiful countryside, yet within easy reach of the City of Gloucester, and surrounding towns. Current CQC rating is GOOD, with OUTSTANDING in Well Led.

We are now recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager on a full-time permanent basis, paying £48,000 per annum plus generous private pension and excellent benefits.

As the Registered Manager your duties will include:

  • Managing a staffing team of 75, with the assistance of two talented deputy managers.
  • Lead and promote partnership working with all our professional partners and stakeholders including Local Authority Commissioning, Operations and Monitoring Officers.
  • Line manage, supervise and fully support Deputy Managers and Team Leaders at the Service.
  • Maintain legal, statutory compliance in all areas of home operation and delivery.
  • Complete and oversee submission of CQC Provider Information Requirement (PIR).
  • Oversee and quality check all important external submissions. E.g., Safeguarding reports, CQC notifications, all other important or critical submissions.
  • Understand and apply the principles of the MCA and DOLs. Ensure DOLs applications are made in a timely manner, reapplying as required.
  • Hold and maintain good working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulators requirements and other relevant guidance to ensure the Registration remains compliant.
  • Coach, mentor and train staff as required.

What we are looking for in our Registered Manager:

  • QCF level 5 or equivalent
  • Proven track record of dynamic leadership at management level.
  • Proven experience of managing a diverse range of complex needs clients.
  • Up to date knowledge of the legislative policy frameworks relevant to this area of work.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and reliable access to a vehicle.

A satisfactory enhanced DBS and Adults Barred List check is required for this role and job offers will be subject to the Trust receiving satisfactory evidence of the successful applicant’s right to work in the UK.
