Job Title: Registered Home Manager

Location: West Oxfordshire, UK

Salary: £65k plus up to 20% Bonus

Company: A reputable care provider in West Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Care Home Manager to oversee a 60-bed residential, nursing, and dementia care home. We are committed to delivering high-quality care services and creating a supportive environment for our residents.

Role Overview: As the Registered Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and management of the care home, ensuring the delivery of person-centered care to meet the diverse needs of our residents. You will lead a team of compassionate and skilled staff members, promoting a culture of dignity, respect, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership and management to the care home team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality care services in line with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff members, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Manage the financial performance of the care home, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards within the care sector.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, promoting open communication and partnership.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to monitor and enhance service delivery, resident satisfaction, and staff morale.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN) with active NMC registration.
  • Previous experience in managing nursing care homes, with a minimum of [X] years of managerial experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of care professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with residents, families, and staff.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in the care sector.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, with a commitment to delivering high standards of care.
  • Genuine passion for supporting and enhancing the quality of life for elderly residents, including those with dementia.
