The Wilf Ward Family Trust - Registered Manager - for adults with learning disabilities

Are you looking for a management position where you can make a difference to the lives of the people we care for? Are you an inspirational individual wanting to work within a values-based organisation? If so, The Wilf Ward Family Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager to join us.

About the Role

As a CQC Registered Manager you will be responsible for one of our registered services, Errol House in Boston Spa. You will have a team of Managers and Assistant Managers to support you to ensure best practice is promoted and implemented.

At Errol House we have 5 individuals living with us, who all need support due to their varying conditions (cerebral palsy, autism and learning disabilities). None of these however limit their outlook on life. Everyone has an amazing and mischievous sense of humour and love nothing more than joking around. You can expect your working day at Errol House to be fun, full of activities and endless laughs!

All the individuals living here are non-verbal and require 1:1 support with aspects of 2:1 support when they access the community. 3 of the individuals are also wheelchair users so the use of hoists and manual handling will occur throughout the service.

Who we’re looking for:

Great care is dependent on a great team, so you’ll have strong leadership and coaching skills along with a desire to help develop your team and support progression. You may well be an experienced Registered Manager working in a different setting, or someone who is seeking their next challenge. You’ll have the passion for supporting individuals to live their best possible lives with a strong commitment to Equality, Diversion and Inclusion.

We hold the right to withdraw the advert if the role is filled, before the closing date.
