We are looking for a Regional Service Manager to provide excellent leadership and direction to the Service Teams based in the Midlands and Sheffield.

The Role

As a Regional Service Manager (Midlands), you will provide strategic and operational leadership to the Service Team across the Midlands, including Sheffield.

Ensuring decisions are in line with business needs and customer requirements, you will help implement and deliver plans to achieve and maintain service contracts within customer sites.

Reporting to the Regional Head of Service (North) and working closely with Account Managers, Service Supervisors and Service Technicians, you will ensure high-quality customer service is delivered throughout your region and safety and financial goals are achieved.

You will be part of a rota for Duty Manager, out of hours.

Additionally, you will:

- Be a member of the service management team and actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, seeking ways to improve processes and control costs
- Analyse and take ownership of service activity and KPIs to highlight areas of concern and execute agreed improvement plans
- Take overall responsibility for Health and Safety within the area
- Ensure that HR policies are understood and adhered to
- Take responsibility for team planning to include management of holidays and training
- Take overall accountability for shift planning / rota management
- Work to and keep within a budget as directed
- Ensure staff have been given the correct training and are able to work effectively and safely
- Take accountability for producing and presenting data sets relating to service delivery levels at regular customer meetings
- Manage and mentor the local Supervisors and Technicians
- Regularly visit sites to support daily operational issues and improvement plans
- Manage and lead project initiatives throughout the business where required
- Produce customer reports and attend customer meetings

Working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday.

About You

To join us as a Regional Service Manager (Midlands), you will need:

- Previous experience within a customer-facing role and with responsibility for staff support
- A comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry
- A clear understanding of service requirements and how to deliver an efficient and comprehensive service to the customer
- An understanding of management principles and how to apply those within a service environment
- Strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills to help analyse data
- The ability to work with minimal supervision to agreed timescales
- To be considerate of other teams and a ‘whole company’ approach, ensuring that local and national goals are considered in any planning and execution
- To be self-motivated with the ability to manage others locally and remotely
- A full, valid UK driving licence
