Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Ops Manager to join and oversee multiple security contracts across various industries in and around London. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and have a background in the security industry, the ability to ensure efficient operations while adhering to compliance standards. This role requires regular travel within the London area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee multiple security contracts across different industries within the London region.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of security services, including personnel deployment, scheduling, and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise security personnel, ensuring high levels of performance and professionalism.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Manage and maintain compliance documents, including licensing, permits, and certifications.
  • Assist in the development and management of budgets for each contract, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential security threats or breaches.
  • Implement performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to assess the effectiveness of security operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement emergency response protocols, ensuring preparedness for various security incidents.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within operations, scheduling systems, and compliance procedures.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the security industry, with a track record of successful contract management.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of security personnel.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and systems to efficiently manage personnel deployment and shift scheduling.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to security operations, with experience managing compliance documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues and make decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel within the London region on a regular basis to oversee operations at various client sites.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, security management, or a related field is preferred.
  • We want to see enthusiasm, a proactive attitude, and your ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • You need to be well presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail.
  • A Criminal Record Check, 5 years employment history and Counter Terrorism Check.
  • SIA Licence
