Regional Account Manager

A great opportunity has arisen for a Regional Account Manager to join a leading construction specialist that focus on exciting commercial fit-out projects involving architectural glass, glazing and partitioning systems. The company work on a range of exciting projects and due to continued growth, require an experienced Account Manager that has a proven background working with clients such as architects, designers and contractors previously. The position will be to build and maintain relationships with existing architectural practices and contractors and bring in new projects or repeat work.

The successful Account Manager will be working with clients across the Midlands (Birmingham across to East Anglia).

Account Manager Position Benefits

• Starting salary £45,000 - £55,000 (dependant on experience)

Account Manager Position Overview

• Management of key architectural and contractor accounts, focussing specifically on new practices or strengthening the relationship with existing practices.
• Provision of a technical advisory role to architects and contractors.
• Liaison with projects team from initial lead through to job start.
• Writing specifications.
• Preparation of budget quotations where necessary.
• Preparation of tender and post-tender presentations
• Liaison with the Estimating Department
• Conducting technical seminars to architectural practices.
• Attendance at all Sales or other meetings as directed.

Account Manager Position Requirements

• Experience working with architects and main/sub-contractors
• Technical skills with the ability to write specifications
• Construction industry knowledge
• Relevant product knowledge (i.e. glazing, partitioning, cladding, facades, fenestration, flooring etc.)
• Full UK Driver's License
• Live on patch (Midlands)
