Refrigeration Engineer - (Job Ref: 24N/FEON)

An exciting opportunity is available for a Refrigeration Engineer / HVAC Engineer to Join the Engineering team at Randox based across several sites in Crumlin and Antrim. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative international company in a growing industry that can provide career security and genuine advancement opportunities.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday from 08.40 to 17.20.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Ÿ Conduct planned preventive maintenance for all HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment.

Ÿ Revise and update Preventative tasks and schedule as required.

Ÿ Commissioning and Servicing of HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment and assist with Validation on current / new equipment.

Ÿ Installation of cold rooms / freezer rooms / air conditioning

Ÿ Maintaining technical documentation e.g., specifications, design drawings, design calculations, reports, procedures, and documents required by the quality management system and Maintenance Manuals.

Ÿ Respond to machine breakdowns and identify root cause and solutions and conduct corrective action as appropriate.

Ÿ Identify repeat failures and participate in continuous improvement projects to improve performance or cost effectiveness.

Ÿ Conduct Risk assessment / Method statements and ensure all work is conducted within H&S Regulations.

Ÿ Maintain and support tasks on Chiller Condensers and Air Handling Units

Ÿ Review and update critical spares.

Ÿ Training and mentoring of others as part of continuous improvement.

Ÿ On call rota done on rotation.

Your profile:

Essential:

Ÿ Current clean driving licence.

Ÿ Ability to read, interpret and apply information from files, drawings, catalogues, reports, and manuals.

Ÿ Able to work flexible hours as required.

Ÿ Experience with Chiller Condensers, Chiller Receivers, and Air Handling Units.

Ÿ Team player.

Ÿ Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative.

Ÿ Excellent communication skills.

Ÿ Computer literate.

Ÿ Experience of fault finding and problem solving with HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment within a manufacturing environment.

Ÿ Knowledge and experience of preventative maintenance practices.

Ÿ Be prepared to travel.

Desirable:

Ÿ Experience in the installation of BMS and temperature monitoring systems.

Ÿ Experience with Honeywell HC900 systems.

Ÿ A third level qualification in Engineering or similar.

Ÿ Experience in a cGMP environment.
