Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Mobile covering areas surround Cambridge (Living around the Peterborough area would be ideal, or around the A1 corridor within an hour of Cambridge)

Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm

Salary: c.£38k - £45k DOE + overtime + company van + fuel card (paid door to door)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Refrigeration Engineer to work for an established, forward thinking manufacturing company who offer great benefits, as well as your own work van, fuel card, and the luxury of being paid from the moment you leave your house, to the second you get home!

The Service Engineer will be:

• Working on air vents and cooling systems including small - large chillers and heat pumps.
• Carrying out general maintenance, PPM, fault finding, as well as carrying out repairs and offering service support.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Completing all electronic paperwork and logs regarding the jobs that have been carried out.
• Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures.
• Feeding back to the office regularly
• Working to schedules/targets and SLAs
• Working on a call out rota.
• Carrying out any other duties as required.

To be successful in applying for this Refrigeration Engineer role, you will have/be:

• An experienced Service Engineer, with excellent relevant technical skills
• Minimum level 2 qualification in refrigeration, ideally level 3
• Relevant electrical qualifications and/or experience in refrigeration/air conditioning
• Customer facing with good communication skills and a friendly approach.
• A safety awareness qualification (e.g. CSCS)
• PASMA Tower scaffolding training
• Flexible to work various hours including on call
