  • Salary Range: £30,722.81 to £37,059.79 (Inclusive of London Weighting)

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Tutor to join our team in the Offender Learning Sector, located in the London Borough of Greenwich. This is a unique opportunity for a professional with a background in catering to make a significant impact on the lives of learners, helping them improve their lives and contribute positively to their communities.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver high-quality, learner-focused vocational training in catering.
  • Engage with learners to inspire and motivate them to achieve their full potential.
  • Track and monitor learners’ progress against course criteria.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic prison environment.
  • Commit to personal development by gaining an Award in Education within 6 months of starting.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Catering professional.
  • A flexible approach to working in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse learner base.
  • Commitment to gaining an Award in Education within 6 months if not already held.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Previous teaching experience is not essential, but a passion for education and learner success is crucial.
