Adecco have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our highly prestigious account based in Leyland. We are looking for an enthusiastic, and positive person to join our team and provide a proficient and high-quality service to our client and our temporary workers, through assisting the onsite Contract Manager and contract consultant with recruiting, pay roll and general administrative duties.

What you'll be doing

  • As a Contract Consultant, you will assist the Contract Manager with delivering great customer service to the client and candidates
  • Shop floor presence building strong foundations with the contractors.
  • Running weekly pay roll for all temporary workers including holiday, sick pay and maternity/paternity pay forms
  • Monitor payroll activity and respond to payroll queries as they arrive within the required time frame
  • Sourcing and pre-screening candidates over the telephone when required.
  • Responsible for the entire on boarding process of all new temporary workers, this includes right to work checks, issuing new starter paperwork and completing drug and alcohol testing.
  • Assisting temporary workers with any general queries or issues
  • Schedule any training for our workers
  • Assist in recruiting quality candidates and responsible for their aftercare whilst on assignment with Adecco and the client

About you

  • Desired experience within a similar role, including administration, recruitment sourcing and coordination
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent relationship building skills with both internal and external workers
  • Time management, prioritisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Good knowledge of MS office packages and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Desired knowledge of HR procedures and Right to Work legislation Confident, able to use own initiative and mange own workload
  • Resilience, self-motivated, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrated focus on client and candidate relationships
  • Excellent customer service skills, going above and beyond for your candidate and the clients expectations
