Recruitment Consultant (Trainee to Senior) - Accountancy Practice
Mainly Remote/hybrid role (North Hertfordshire)
£24,000 to £40,000 base salary + uncapped commission

The Accountancy Practice division of Butler Rose, covering London and the immediate Home Counties, has experienced considerable income growth over the past three years, and as such, is eager to appoint further recruiters, at all levels, to complement the existing and highly successful team.

With a proven track record of recruiting non-qualified, part-qualified, and fully qualified accounts, audit, and tax professionals into firms of all sizes, from boutique to Top 10, Butler Rose will enable you to leverage well-established relationships and a large candidate and client database from day one!

What will you be doing?

Using industry-leading recruitment technologies, you will locate, qualify, and introduce practice accounting professionals in all forms to new and existing clients in the market you serve.

In addition to providing traditional 'search and selection' recruitment solutions to clients, you will strive to create good relationships with them by advising on current market conditions, pay benchmarking, and meeting as many as possible, ideally in person.

As you can see, the role is varied, and you will be given autonomy (with training, backup, and support as needed) to construct a recruitment desk that suits you, with the goal of becoming extremely successful!

Who are we looking for?

We are ideally looking for proven 180° or 360° accountancy practice or finance recruiters with a couple of years+ experience, but individuals without recruiting experience, as well as those already working in practice as an auditor or accountant, will be given equal consideration.

While the position is available for remote working (you must be self-motivated and conscientious), it is critical that you live and work within the division's geographical area, which includes London, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire (most ideal), Kent, or Surrey. Physical meetings with clients, candidates, and internal training and management would also be required, as appropriate.
