We are looking to hire our next Recruitment Assistant – Edinburgh. Ideally someone with a hospitality background, who is ready to take on the mission of an office-based role to join our team.
  
What will you be doing as Recruitment Assistant – Edinburgh

  • Comply at all times with all relevant UK and European Immigration and employment laws.
  • Provide high-quality training for new recruits, assessing candidates and their skills thoroughly.
  • Assist with the delivery of further developmental training for our casual team, ensuring a quality learning experience for all attendees.
  • Meet weekly and monthly recruitment targets with high-quality recruits, as set by the Deputy Recruitment Managers.
  • Assist Managers to execute creative and effective candidate attraction strategies, within the public domain, to enable a high volume of quality applicants and recruits.
  • Proactively source, screen and evaluate candidates both over the phone and in person.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all daily and project-based Recruitment administration in conjunction with the coaching pool, ensuring adherence to all company systems and procedures.
  • Maintain and improve recruitment systems and software to further benefit the department.
  
What we require from our Recruitment Assistant – Edinburgh

  • Qualified to A level or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills including fluency in spoken English and exceptional written English.
  • Excellent phone manner and the ability to engage appropriately with applicants, casual staff and clients.
  • Drive and determination with attention to detail and an innate ability to focus on a variety of tasks.
  • Exemplary work ethic.
  • Immaculately presented with pride in both appearance and work.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Hospitality front-of-house experience. Preferably at a supervisory level.
  • Comfortable with public speaking or presenting training to a group
  • Personal Licence and Drivers Licences (Advantageous but not essential)
  
This is a varied role with excellent development opportunities, so you may be required to work out at events to offer support, advice and valuable feedback to clients and team members in order to further expand your industry knowledge.
At Off to Work, we believe it's crucial for our office team to have a comprehensive understanding of our business and clients. Therefore, during our quieter periods, participation in fieldwork will be required.

There may also be a requirement to travel to events outside of Edinburgh on occasion.
