We are looking for an Recruitment Administrator for one of our Plymouth based clients and they are looking for someone who loves to chat, a people person and is willing to go the extra mile to get the job done whilst advancing their own career and earning potential. You DO NOT need previous recruitment experience to be successful however this might be advantageous, but our client is is looking for a person with great people skills over experience.

You will be a key team player within our client’s office, building relationships with their candidates via email, telephone and face to face. You will have one of the largest impacts on the business, recruiting into their sales department and helping the company achieve their targets.

The Recruiter must have:

  • A fun and outgoing personality as you'll be working in a lively environment
  • A fantastic telephone manner and be confident
  • The ability to deal with a diverse group of people
  • Confidence when speaking on the phone
  • Great organisational skills
  • The ability to use their own initiative within a varied role
  • Capacity to work independently, whilst recognising when appropriate to seek advice or escalate concerns
  • Willingness to learn and be happy with being managed and supervised
  • Drive to hit targets and be self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic

A background in Recruitment is not essential, however a background in some sort of sales or telesales role is an advantage as we know those in sales love to chat! Or for someone looking for a entry level recruitment role to get their recruitment career started.

The role involves but may not be limited to:

  • Managing recruitment for the office via phone, email and face to face
  • Placing recruitment adverts
  • Shortlisting CVs
  • Calling candidates for initial chat
  • Hitting targets
  • Filing sales paperwork
  • Organising interviews around interviewers schedules
  • Some PA duties
  • Opportunity to go to recruitment training, workshops and trips abroad with the company
  • Any other ad hoc sales admin task that might be required

My client offers a lively, fun environment and a chance to develop skills in recruitment for the right individual who is willing to learn. They also offer recognition with their organisation for those who work hardest and opportunities to travel and network with other companies in their organisation.

The role is on a permanent basis, Monday to Wednesday 8am - 5pm and is based in the office. You must have a full working visa to be successful.

They are wrapping up the recruitment process very quickly, ideally candidate to be able to start immediately, or within the next four weeks.

Salary: Negotiable

Hours: 8am - 5pm (office based)

Schedule: 3 days a week - Monday to Wednesday (with possible full time in the future, as well as progression and career path
