Who We Are Looking For:

Location: Aberdeen (50/50 hybrid work schedule)

Work Schedule:Full-time 37.5 hours per week

We have an opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to join the Resourcing team with a focus on Offshore and Corporate Recruitment activity.

  • The Recruiter is responsible for end-to-end resourcing activities such as sourcing and selection of suitably qualified candidates in support of current and forecasted manpower requirements for all business units.
  • Source and attract diverse talent.
  • Create diversity and inclusion in talent attraction.
  • The role covers a wide range of administrative activities related to the recruitment process.
  • The role will process a wide variety of transactions for resourcing customers, internally and externally, using the HR systems (KOMPASS/SAP) and HR processes and procedures effectively in line with agreed service levels and ensuring compliance with KCA Deutag Worldwide Standards

Responsibilities:

The Recruiter is responsible for the end-to-end co-ordination of resourcing processes in line with agreed service levels, in particular (but not limited to):

Sourcing

  • Conduct pre-recruitment meeting with Hiring Manager to discuss vacancy requirements & agree correct approach.
  • Co-ordinate internal and external resourcing advertising, with a focus on the direct sourcing of candidates
  • Utilise direct sourcing tools by taking a headhunting approach to meet agreed service levels.
  • Attract diverse talent and create diversity and inclusion in advertisement.
  • Utilise KCA Deutag internal systems (e.g., Applicant Tracking System, KOMPASS) and direct sourcing tools available to source suitable candidates.
  • Research new opportunities for sourcing and attracting talent.
  • Maintain relationships with third party manpower suppliers to ensure a consistent service and, as required to source external candidates.
  • Liaising with operational and HR team(s) as required to discuss resourcing requirements.

Selection

  • Screen, evaluate and conduct interviews of potential candidates and recommend shortlisted candidates to Hiring Managers
  • Organise interviews/tests etc for short listed applicants, including arranging the interview date, panel, rooms, and interview programme.
  • Support hiring manager as part of hiring panel or assessment centres etc.
  • Use SAP/KCA Deutag systems e.g., "at risk register", "keeping in touch register" and liaise with HRC to research employee history and records
  • Provide timely information to all candidates (internal & external) regarding the status of their application.

Offer

  • Provide verbal offer to successful candidate based on recommendation from Hiring Manager and as per Group Authorisation matrix.
  • Provide outcome to unsuccessful candidates and offer feedback.

In addition to the above, the Recruiter is also responsible for:

  • Attend pipeline management meetings to capture and understand resourcing requirements.
  • Coach hiring managers on the resourcing process and appropriate interview techniques.
  • Utilise external suppliers for market intelligence on rates etc.
  • Project support to other projects for resourcing workstreams e.g., LEAN
  • Preparation and submission of recruitment reports: reporting via systems on resourcing deliverables such as number of vacancies, savings, direct versus indirect sourcing etc.
  • Review PSL list periodically and review with HRBP to ensure it meets business needs and is cost effective.
  • Maintenance of Applicant Tracking System to allow for accurate reporting.
  • Deliver resourcing related training across the Group.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including wider HR Group, Hiring Managers and in country teams.
  • Develop "keeping in touch" relationships with previous employees.
  • Managing sensitive and confidential information relating to employees in line with data protection, group standards and processes.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • It’s essential in this role to have previous recruitment experience either in-house or agency.
  • Headhunting/Direct sourcing experience.
  • Competent in reviewing and shortlisting CVs at all levels (Drilling and Corporate)
  • Time management and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks, work on multiple vacancies and work to tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HR & Recruitment processes, procedures and policies ensuring effective application and continuous improvement.
  • Customer focus - for HR customers, business customers and external customers.
  • Flexible and positive attitude to change.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • Communication skills - oral and written.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HR qualification, educational qualification, or relevant work experience.
