Venn Group would like to introduce the following Recovery Worker position available

Position:          Recovery Coordinator  

Location:         Warrington

Length:            8 weeks on going

Hours:             37.5 hours p/week  - Mon – Fri, no weekend working

Rate:               Negotiable depending on experience   

The role will predominantly involve:

  • Supporting high caseload of 30 plus service users recovering from alcohol addictions from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
  • Providing screening, assessment and recovery planning and onward rehabilitation referrals
  • Reducing alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
  • Promoting carer, service user and community involvement
  • Providing advocacy for access to partnership services
  • Working with nurses and hospitals 
  • Visiting service users in hospital
  • Office based role

The successful candidate must have recovery work experience and worked in a similar role to be considered for this position, must has an Enhanced DBS certificate and be available to start from next week
