A busy architectural practice based near Wapping is looking to recruit an organised and personable receptionist to join their team!

The successful candidate will be professional, well-presented with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

You must be willing and able to carry out a number of admin tasks whilst managing a busy switchboard and encountering countless interruptions! Experience of a busy reception and a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel are definite pre-requisites for this role.

The role is very varied and involves:

  • Front of house duties
  • Answering the telephones
  • Accurate message taking
  • Booking meetings & managing meeting rooms
  • Booking taxis and couriers
  • Ordering & making refreshments
  • Updating databases
  • Making travel arrangements and hotel bookings
  • Stationary ordering
  • Keeping front of house clean and tidy

Hours of work are 9.00am to 6.00pm (with one hour lunch) Monday to Friday.
