Receptionist

  • Job Type: 3-month temporary role
  • Location: Beaconsfield
  • Salary: £11.50 - £12.00 per hour

We are looking for a professional Receptionist to manage our front desk daily and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organisation. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Day to day of the role:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Issue visitor passes
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings.
  • Arrange parking for visitors.
  • Administrative tasks

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office productivity software
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Customer service attitude
