We're looking for a detail-oriented Real Estate Accountant to deliver and optimise specific Finance Operations processes and technologies.

Client Details

Our client is a leader in Retail sector, with a staff strength of over 10,000, they are known for their steadfast commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.

Description

  • Identify, scope and deliver optimisation of specific Finance Operations processes and technologies involved in the financial statement impact of my clients lease portfolio and payments for the real estate portfolio (owned and leased)
  • End to End Process reviews of real estate accounting (rent, rates, CAMS)
  • Monthly income statement review
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations (lease accounting, rates, service charge insurance)
  • Execution of SOX controls and compliance with company policy
  • Proactive identification of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of payments
  • Recovery of overpayments
  • Deliver better value services, connecting and building relationships with key stakeholder groups, predominantly the Estates Management Team and landlords
  • Experience of high volume real estate transactions.

Profile

A successful Real Estate Accountant should have:

  • Professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of how a process works end to end, its impact on different teams and stakeholders and not only process transactions.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
