Do you have a passion for technology and a knack for explaining complex concepts?

A rapidly growing boutique accountancy firm with offices in Maidenhead, Cambridge, Woking, and Sevenoaks seeks an R&D Tax Consultant - Software Specialist to join their dynamic team.

2 days in the office, 3 days from home.
With an appetite to make it into the top 20 over the next 5, this is your chance to join a firm on an upward trajectory, providing you with ample room for growth and career progression.

The core part of your role will be helping clients secure valuable R&D tax relief for their innovative projects with a main focus on software and engineering.

You'll collaborate with clients' tech teams (software developers, technical architects) across various industries (TMT, Financial Services, Retail & E-commerce, etc.) to understand their projects. As well as this, you'll analyse technical details and translate them into clear and concise reports for HMRC, demonstrating the projects' eligibility for R&D tax relief and to maximise clients' financial benefits.

You'll report to a director with extensive experience at a Big 4 firm who values work-life balance and encourages creative thinking, so you can say goodbye to red tape and see your ideas come to life.

Competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.

You will also enjoy excellent professional development opportunities including study support for qualification pursuits.
