Having a number of live sites across Devon, the company are actively looking for a self sufficient and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team and lead new build residential developments.

As the QS on site, you will be required to take commercial responsibility for the scheme from procurement to final account. With support from your site team, you will ensure high standards of account management and customer liaison, cost control, risk management and accurate reporting.

Applicants should possess:
  • A proven track record in a Quantity Surveying role
  • Extensive house building experience with recognised developers and/or contractors
  • Ideally have managed sites upwards of 100 units
  • Excellent communication and management skills
  • A good understanding of construction methods and materials
  • Good knowledge of different forms of contract
  • A min HNC level qualification in Construction or related subject
  • Fully IT literate


Both sites you will manage are 150 – 200 units each, so you will need to comfortable in overseeing volume schemes. Most of your working week will be spent on site.
