Exciting Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor in the Fire Protection Systems Industry!

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to your next step in a fast-paced world of fire protection? Starting Point Recruitment is thrilled to present a permanent position within West Midlands for our esteemed client.

Position: Permanent Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (based on experience)
Working Hours: Full time, Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm / Friday 9am-4pm - Flexibility required.
Sector: Fire Sprinkler

What Are We Looking For? Join our client's busy Commercial Team as a Quantity Surveyor with experience in the sprinkler sector.

Specific requirements include:

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Previous experience in fire protection or construction services
  • Knowledge of construction management principles
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Providing commercial assistance to project teams
  • Reviewing tender stage terms and conditions
  • Conducting monthly progress valuations
  • Submitting variations in a timely manner
  • Monitoring site progress and delays
  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Attending site visits and client meetings
