Working for a successful regional developer who are currently recruiting for an experienced quantity surveyor for developments in Cornwall.
This is a site based role and the company can offer some home working, with occasional travel to office. Reporting to the Managing Surveyor.
You will take full commercial responsibility of the site, subcontractors procurement and orders, variations and payment recommendations, valuations, identifying risk, cvr reporting and final account etc.
Applicants should possess the below experience:
- A housing development background is essential with either a housing contractor or developer
- Accustomed to running your own scheme/s
- Ideally qualified to degree or HNC level in Construction or Quantity Surveying or working towards
- Confident communication and negotiation skills
- Fully IT literate
- Strong reporting skills
- A team player
Please be aware sites situated thoroughout Cornwall so you will need to be prepared to travel.
