Quantity Surveyor

This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who is looking to join a high quality Developer and play their part in the success in a growing company.

Duties:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential development projects, including materials, labour, and other expenses.
• Develop and evaluate tender documents, analyse bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing variations to the budget.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, including processing payments and resolving disputes.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
• Conduct value engineering exercises to optimise project value while maintaining quality standards.
• Assess and mitigate risks to the project's budget and schedule through proactive risk management strategies.
• Prepare final accounts and documentation at project completion, reconciling actual costs with the initial budget.

Requirements:

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience
• Degree qualified and or equivalent
• Strong Construction experience ideally residential house building
• Full UK driving license
