An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading independent house builders has become available for an experienced Quantity Surveyor based in Swanley.

The Quantity Surveyor's role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all cost relating items to the Build Project. The main responsibilities include preparing schedules for tender, analyse tenders and recommend preferred suppliers. To source local suppliers and negotiate terms to support group buying for the region.

Working closely with the Commercial Director the Quantity Surveyor will be supporting with all costings for projects from apartments to detached residences across the UK.

The Quantity Surveyor will work with head office and other disciplines to ensure that all standards are met and to ensure full completion of projects within a timely manner and within budget.

The Quantity Surveyor

  • House builder experience
  • Client facing with strong verbal and written communication
  • Able to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Working independently and within a team
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Organised, professional and self-motivated
