Job Title: Associate Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview:

In the role of Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the consultancy, bringing your wealth of experience to manage and oversee the financial aspects of various projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quantity surveying within a consultancy setting, with a preference for those holding MRICS chartership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting accurate cost estimates and preparing comprehensive tender documents
  • Managing project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting
  • Collaborating effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams
  • Providing strategic advice on cost-effective solutions and risk management
  • Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure value for money
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Proven quantity surveying experience within a consultancy
  • MRICS chartership is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement methodologies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
