About:

Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a passion for commercial fit-out projects? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your expertise contributes to transforming office spaces, schools, hospitals, and military units? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Role Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor for my client, you’ll play a pivotal role in our commercial fit-out projects. Your expertise will directly impact the successful delivery of high-quality spaces for our clients. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

  1. Cost Management:
    • Prepare detailed bills of quantities, considering labor hours and material costs.
    • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost estimates.
    • Monitor project expenses and provide cost control throughout the lifecycle.
  2. Contract Administration:
    • Manage procurement processes, tendering, and variations.
    • Oversee subcontract works packages.
    • Ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  3. Drylining Expertise (Desired):
    • While drylining experience is desired, it’s not essential. We value your overall expertise in commercial fit-out projects.
  4. Office-Based Role with Hybrid Option:
    • Initially office-based, you’ll have the flexibility to choose a hybrid working arrangement after probation.
    • Enjoy the best of both worlds—collaborate in-person and work remotely as needed.

Benefits:

  • Pension Scheme: Secure your financial future with our comprehensive pension plan.
  • Unofficial Bonuses: We appreciate hard work and dedication.
  • Flexible Hours: Balance work and personal life effectively.
  • Diverse Projects: Work on exciting fit-out projects across various sectors.

Requirements:

  • Quantity Surveying Experience: Ideally 5-10 years in commercial fit-out and refurbishment.
  • Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel to sites may be required.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurate cost estimation and contract management are crucial.
  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
