Salary: £60,000-£80,000 per annum

Job Description:

As a Quantity Surveyor -Commercial, you will play a pivotal role in the projects, overseeing cost management and commercial aspects to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects. Collaborating with the project team, subcontractors, and clients, you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost and Commercial Management: Effectively manage and control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring, while overseeing the commercial aspects of contracts.
• Contract Administration: Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and manage commercial aspects, such as negotiations and variations.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to cost and contracts, ensuring sound commercial decision-making.
• Value Engineering: Explore cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality, with a focus on enhancing project profitability.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, regarding both quantity surveying and commercial matters.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of all financial transactions, contract-related documents, and commercial agreements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in relevant software applications.
