There is now a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering company that designs, develops, and manufactures a range of bespoke products within the medical sector as a Quality Technician. As a Quality Technician you will be responsible for the day-to-day quality requirements and dealing with non-conformances of products and processes.

Quality Technician Responsibilities;

  • Assisting in carrying out quality control inspection processes
  • Investigate and analyse any quality issues that arise
  • Monitor both internal and external quality issues
  • Assist with the calibration of equipment and systems
  • Conduct supplier audits
  • Assist with 8D reports
  • Ensure products meets industry standards

Quality Technician Requirements;

  • Previous experience working within a Quality Technician position
  • Experienced in conducting audits
  • Must be a team player
  • A Level, BTEC or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO9001), problem solving capabilities and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written for all aspects of the business
  • IT literate in Word Excel and Power Point
  • Must be able to work from drawings, detailed verbal and written instructions, specifications.

This Quality Technician opportunity is based in Hereford and commutable from Ledbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Malvern, Tewkesbury and Worcester.
