Quality Technician

Kent - Quality Technician - £24k-£28k - Defence

Platform Recruitment have partnered with a highly established defence company to ensure they successfully recruit a Quality Technician. You will be responsible for testing materials, components or finished products to ensure they conform to applicable standards & procedures.

Main Duties:

+ Performing first-off and in-process inspection

+ Ensuring dimensional reports are completed and filed correctly

+ Operating CMM using established programs or techniques to support inspection of components

+ Responsible for management of stock in and out of the inspection process

+ Monitoring calibration system & ensuring equipment is continually calibrated to schedule

Key Requirements:

+ ISO 9001 or AS9100 internal auditor

+ 3 years’ experience in quality inspection, metrology and CMM

+ Practical experience using various mechanical inspection tools

+ Ability to interpret engineering drawings

Salary/Location:

+ The salary for this permanent role can range from £24k-£28k per annum, depending on experience

+ The role is based in Kent
