The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Quality Technician to join their client on a fixed term 6 month contract in Runcorn,

Our client is a manufacturing and distribution business.
This is a varied position, responsible for quality testing raw materials with additional Quality administration requirements.

Working hours:

The position is full time, Monday to Friday, offering a flexible start and finish time in line with site operating hours (39 hours per week total).

Pay rate

£11.83 per hour

Key responsibilities

  • Practical experience within a food/pharma or chemical manufacturing Laboratory environment
  • Knowledge of QC testing equipment and methods, (preferably including GC and GC-MS)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Particularly Excel)
  • Ability to prioritise own workload in accordance with business needs.
  • Strong problem solving/mathematical skills
  • High level of accuracy/attention to detail.
  • Ability to act on own initiative, working alone or in a team environment
  • Confidence and ability to make decisions
  • Ability to work well and keep a clear focus under pressure

**To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar position and be a methodical worker with impeccable IT skills
